Events
Boulevard Swing has played at a whole host of different events around the South West, including corporate parties, weddings and live music nights in various venues.
Some of this year's many highlights have been a full-throttle event at Highbridge Speedway, providing the end of The Pier show at a live music weekend in Burnham-on-Sea, and putting the swing into Spring at our very own big band night in Mark.
Previously, you might have caught us keeping the audience spellbound at The Bristol Society of Magic's annual convention or entertaining the troops at a Forties Charity Auction and Ball, among other venues. But just to prove we promise to protect your identity if you are one of the more outrageous dancefloor groovers, you can hear us at least at a recent wedding reception near Bath.
Where can I see you next?
Our next public performance will be in Burnham on Sea's Manor Gardens. The annual Picnic in the Park event which, this year falls on Sunday 11th July 2010 is a well-supported and relaxed affair with a wonderful atmosphere and good music from great local bands. Last year's Picnic in the Park went down a storm (quite literally!). Keep checking for when we are doing our next open event. You can even email us and we will let you know!
On 9th October, Boulevard Swing will perform in the New Hall, Tiverton in aid of Tiverton Amateur Operatic Society where our super smooth vocalist Mark Godfrey will be joined by female vocal trio, In Harmony. They will be performing old favourites like Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Bad Bad Leroy Brown
