We are Boulevard Swing
An authentic, full-sized swing band based in the South West. Whether it's a wedding, corporate event or private party, we can cater for any occasion; offering an extensive repertoire that covers classics from the golden age of swing through to arrangements by some of the hottest jazz musicians around today.
Who are we?
In 2004 a small group of dedicated, jazz-loving musicians got together in Weston-Super-Mare and formed the nucleus of a Big Band which became Boulevard Swing. Word soon spread and as the band improved and grew, the lineup evolved into one of the finest swing bands in the West of England. The band now boasts 5 saxophones and a clarinet, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones and a superb rhythm section comprising piano, bass and drums. All this is complemented by resident vocalist Mark Godfrey and other "guest" singers. Click on the Meet the Band page to see us in action.
Where do you gig?
Boulevard Swing has played at a whole host of different events around the South West, including corporate parties, weddings and live music nights in various venues. We even pulled a magic show out of the hat! Click on the Events page to find out where you can see us next.
